Who We Are

Georgia Metal Corporation is a commercial HVAC and metal installation contractor located at 4100 N Powerline Road, Suite I-3, Pompano Beach, FL 33073 (Florida License #CACA18268). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.georgiametalcorp.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We are a business-to-business contractor. We do not sell advertising, we do not sell your personal information, and we collect only what we need to respond to you and keep the website running safely.

Information You Provide to Us

The only place on this website where you actively give us information is the quote request form. When you submit it, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• The service you need and your project details

Your submission is delivered to our staff by email. For security and abuse prevention, that email also includes your IP address and the date and time you submitted the form.

If you call us or email us directly, we receive whatever information you choose to share, and we use it the same way: to respond to you about your project.

Information Collected Automatically

Server logs

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs, which typically record your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of each request.

Cloudflare

Our website is delivered through Cloudflare, a content delivery and security network. Cloudflare processes visitor IP addresses to block malicious traffic and may set strictly necessary cookies (such as bot-management cookies) that help distinguish real visitors from automated attacks. These cookies are used for security, not advertising.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate — for example, which pages are visited, from what general region, and on what type of device. Our configuration anonymizes IP addresses. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to recognize returning browsers. To reduce its impact, analytics only loads after you first interact with the page (or after about 15 seconds). Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Fonts

Our homepage loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver the font files, your browser sends your IP address to Google's servers. Google states that Fonts requests are not associated with your Google account and that the Fonts API does not set cookies.

Contact form rate limiting

To prevent spam and abuse of our quote form, we temporarily store a one-way hashed (scrambled) version of your IP address together with recent submission timestamps. These records expire after approximately 10 minutes and are used for nothing except limiting repeated submissions.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your quote request and communicate with you about your project
• Operate, secure, and improve the website, including preventing spam and abuse
• Understand overall site usage so we can make the site better
• Comply with legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising, build marketing profiles, or make automated decisions about you.

Cookies and Your Choices

We do not set any cookies of our own. The cookies you may encounter on this site come from the services described above: Google Analytics (analytics) and Cloudflare (security).

You are free to block or delete cookies using your browser settings — every part of this website, including the quote form, works with cookies disabled. If you would like to opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, Google provides a browser opt-out add-on.

Do Not Track: we do not track visitors across other websites, so there is no cross-site tracking to disable. Because of that, this site does not change its behavior in response to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

When We Share Information

We share information only in these limited situations:

• Service providers. The companies that host and deliver this website — our web host, Cloudflare, and Google (Analytics and Fonts) — process limited visitor data as described in this policy.
• Legal requirements. If required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, our customers, or others.
• Business transfers. If our business is merged, acquired, or sold, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction under the same protections.

We never sell personal information to anyone.

How Long We Keep Information

• Quote request emails are kept as ordinary business records for as long as we need them to evaluate or perform work and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
• Rate-limiting records (hashed IP and timestamps) expire after approximately 10 minutes.
• Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard schedule.
• Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for the limited period configured in our analytics account.

How We Protect Information

The entire site is served over HTTPS with modern browser security protections enabled, form input is validated and limited in size, and we deliberately collect the minimum information needed — there are no user accounts and no payment information is ever collected through this website.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect the information we hold and we hold very little.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live — for example, California and several other U.S. states, or the EEA and United Kingdom — you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We keep it simple: any visitor, regardless of where they live, can email us at estimating@georgiametalcorp.com to ask what information we hold about them, or to request that it be corrected or deleted. We will honor reasonable requests. We may need to verify your identity (for example, by confirming you control the email address in question) before acting on a request.

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that regard.

Children's Privacy

This is a commercial contracting website intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, contact us and we will delete it.
